Federal twitter feeds have gone inactive and many government websites have been taken off line and are being replaced with splash pages.
Which means, there won’t be an official on-line resource to track when or if Congress comes to a deal to start things back up!
And Google’s homepage is just a sad reminder of the fact that on the 123rd anniversary of the Yosemite National Park, it was closed.
But just like any other serious event, there will always be some form of comic relief. Thanks, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert for the Rockin’ Shut Down Eve. And this tweet was pretty funny too…
