With the holiday season in full swing, we couldn’t be prouder of our clients who are doing amazing things and really getting into the holiday spirit!
Last week, New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford teamed up with Morris Catholic High School to take 50 underprivileged kids from East Orange, New Jersey on a holiday shopping spree to the East Hanover Target. Each child had $100 to spend on new toys – and $25 to spend on gifts for their family or friends, courtesy of The Shauger Group. The event was incredible; The Morris Catholic football players were so helpful, the kids were so excited and Steve was his usual fun self! For more details, check out this Star Ledger article.
As you know, Steve is one of the most charitable players in the NFL – and was recognized for it last week when he was nominated for NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award! This award honors players who best represent the NFL’s commitment to philanthropy/community impact. Congrats, Steve! Well deserved nomination! For more info: NJ.com
