The Business Intelligence Group Award Recognizes Leading PR Agencies That Delivered Quantifiable Business Results for their Respective Clients during the COVID-19 Pandemic
The firm was recognized by the Business Intelligence Group judging panel for the way it helped a number of its clients, including Baldor Specialty Foods, Blue Fountain Media, Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company, Pactera EDGE, Alpenglow Expeditions, and the El Cap family of nationwide climbing gyms, pivot their businesses and remain relevant and viable in the COVID-19 marketplace.
“2020 has been a challenging year no matter what your business,” said Lynn Munroe, founder and president of Maracaibo Media Group. “We helped a number of our clients formulate and communicate the business changes they made in response to the pandemic, and it’s an honor to be recognized by our peers for our achievement in this area.”
“When 80% of our restaurant business evaporated overnight in March, Lynn and her team at Maracaibo helped us publicize our plans to pivot to a home delivery model,” said Leigh Denardo, Director of Marketing at Baldor Specialty Foods. “Securing us positive coverage with outlets like Good Day NY, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Bon Appetite helped us get our message out to key demographics when we needed to most.”
“We’re proud to recognize the recent PR work of Maracaibo Media Group,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “They clearly demonstrated how important effective PR and marketing efforts are during the current health crisis and how it made a difference for the clients they represent.”
